Romans 13:8-14a

Love is one of the most talked-about topics in the world, yet the version most people know is shallow and built on feelings and affirmation. Biblical love is something far deeper. It is rooted in the character of God Himself and defined not by emotions but by the person and work of Jesus Christ. God demonstrated the true meaning of love by sending His Son to die for sinners, even while they were still His enemies. This kind of love does not erase the law or affirm everything without condition. It fulfills the law, hates what is wrong, and rejoices in truth. Real love is patient, kind, selfless, and willing to sacrifice, and it grows in believers as the Holy Spirit works in them over time.
