Romans 3:9-20

Apr 6, 2025    Phil Steiger

Romans 3 reveals the universal nature of sin, affecting both Jews and Gentiles equally. Through 14 biblical indictments, we see how sin creates a fundamental disconnect between humans and God, darkening our intellect and corrupting our will. The law serves to reveal our inability to achieve righteousness on our own and creates awareness of sin. Understanding the depth of human wickedness leads to appreciating God's mercy and developing a proper fear of the Lord, which is crucial for spiritual growth and right relationship with God.
