Romans 12:9-13b
Jun 14, 2026 • Phil Steiger
Paul's instructions in Romans 12:9-13 call Christians to embrace a radically different way of living centered on genuine love within the church family. When we become new creations in Christ, we're called to love one another with brotherly affection, moving beyond self-protection to sacrificial service. This means taking the lead in showing honor to others, serving the Lord with fervent zeal, and caring deeply for each other's spiritual well-being. Unlike the world's emphasis on self-interest, Christ calls us to consider others more important than ourselves, creating a spiritual family bound together by divine love rather than blood relations.
