Romans 10:14-18

The Church of Jesus Christ is called to be a proactive force in spreading the Gospel, not sitting idly while waiting for Christ's return. Paul's questions in Romans 10:14 reveal the essential chain: people cannot call upon Christ unless they believe, cannot believe unless they hear, and cannot hear without someone proclaiming the message. Every Christian is called to be a herald of the Gospel, not just professional pastors. When we encounter opposition or confusion in the world, we should see people as eternal souls who need Jesus, viewing them with the same compassion Christ showed for those who were harassed and helpless like sheep without a shepherd.
