Romans 10:5-13

Christianity is fundamentally about believing specific truths about Jesus Christ, not simply being a good person. Paul explains in Romans 10 that salvation comes through confessing Jesus as Lord and believing in His resurrection. This requires both private faith and public confession, which takes courage but demonstrates genuine commitment. True belief leads to action - your behavior reveals what you actually believe. The evidence for Christ's resurrection is historically reliable, with eyewitness testimony and the disciples' willingness to die for this truth. When you confess Jesus as Lord, you're declaring that no area of your life remains under your own control.
